**Infrastructure Platforms International Services**is a horizontal service organization responsible for Infrastructure Platforms in **Asia Pacific, Europe Middle East & Africa, and Latin America & Canada**. We leverage the scale and expertise of the product organization to deliver Infrastructure Platforms global products at a local level, linking requirements and understanding regulations to ensure Infrastructure Platforms products are delivered to meet customer need. We align with the international Chief Information Office organization within each region and with direct linkage to global Infrastructure Platform’s Platforms & Services.

This is **Tech Risk & Controls Lead role based in Sao Paulo covering Latin America & Canada**, and will report to the Infrastructure Platforms International Services Global Tech Risk & Control Director.

Tech Risk & Controls professionals play a critical role in the Identification, assessment, oversight, monitoring, and reporting of compliance and operational risk in line with the firm's standards. They are accountable for supporting and advising technology aligned process owners in managing operational aspects of governance, risk, and compliance. Tech Risk & Controls is also responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of controls and risk management frameworks, and partnering with Product Security to ensure design and implemented controls are operating in alignment with firm, regulatory, legal, and industry standards as required. Tech Risk & Controls also partners with a variety of stakeholders, Including Product Managers (both business and technology aligned), Business Control Managers, Second Line of Defense, Audit, Compliance, and regulators to develop and report a comprehensive view of the technology risk posture and the impact on the business.

**Job responsibilities**
- Oversee how Infrastructure Platforms International Latin America & Canada organization adopts technology to support, enable and enhance its business objectives while complying with the Firm’s global policies and it’s regulatory compliance requirements.
- Understand complex regulatory and internal security requirements and be able to advise on implementation options.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including key cross-functional team leads, regulators, and auditors, to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of IP product/platforms teams strategies, product roadmaps and key investment programs.
- Identify technology risk impacting the business that is quantified, communicated, and managed, including recommendations for resolution, and identifying the root cause/key themes.
- Partner with Third Party Oversight teams to ensure effective vendor risk management.

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.**
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technology risk management, information security, or related field, emphasizing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks, industry standards, and financial industry regulatory requirements.
- Proficient knowledge and expertise in data security, risk assessment & reporting, control evaluation, design, and governance, with a proven record of implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Ability to work with data from disparate sources to build a cohesive view on risk.
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive-level strategic decision-making and translating technology insights into business strategies for senior executives.

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or similar industry-recognized risk and risk certifications are preferred
- Risk management knowledge in public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) services
