We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatcher to oversee invoice and billing management while providing occasional support to our operations dispatch team. This role is primarily responsible for ensuring accuracy in invoicing and billing, maintaining system updates for tracking and tracing shipments, and managing back-office tasks. Additionally, the Dispatcher will serve as a backup to the primary operations dispatcher, assisting with securing and assigning loads as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage invoice and billing reconciliation, ensuring all scanned paperwork matches assigned loads.
- Maintain and update tracking and tracing systems to reflect current shipment status.
- Perform back-office administrative duties related to logistics and operations.
- Act as a backup dispatcher for securing and assigning loads to drivers when required.
- Support communication across the truckload fleet (20 drivers), particularly when the primary dispatcher is unavailable.
- Step in to cover unexpected load assignments, typically 1-2 times per week.
- Assist in ensuring that assets remain operational and drivers are kept moving efficiently.

- Working schedule**:Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm EST**

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or dispatching required.
- Strong attention to detail with experience in invoice and billing reconciliation.
- Familiarity with track & trace systems and logistics software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to step in when needed.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working with small truckload fleets.
- Prior exposure to load planning and asset management.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
