Our client is looking for bright and driven **Industry Data Researchers** to collect company and product data for their online platform.

The client handles an extensive amount of free company and product information (over 150,000 listings currently) to help **renewable energy and recycling companies**, helping millions of users annually with this free service. As they grow their 15-year-old service, the company hopes to find smart and reliable staff who can help keep their data quality the best in the world.

The core work for Industry Data Researchers is **keeping company and product data refreshed**, as well as checking the details of new companies and new products to list. This work is no thrilling roller coaster, but it is also not just mindless data entry work. Staff are expected to quickly search through individual websites and pick out details on their company and products.

Why competent and intelligent people are needed for this job:

- Different manufacturer data sheets do not display information in the same way; there might be odd data labels that appear, and staff must understand where that data goes in data templates.
- The client also collects difficult data like manufacturing equipment, individual components and testing devices. They need people that can learn to understand and identify these types of products.
Research staff are also expected undertake **other tasks** as part of their job roles, such as:

- For staff with technical backgrounds and aptitudes - researching and creating data templates.
- For staff with experience in communication roles - Marketing and SEO tasks
- Writing video scripts explaining about solar products.
- Account management tasks to support sales staff
- Management roles to look after new industry websites to be built in the future.
This job is fully web-based **remote-work** - you are free to work at your own time, with only the requirement of completing the required number of hours.

Standard job hours are **38 hours/week** (7.6 hours/day and 5 days/week).
Alternatively, an arrangement of 20-30 hours/week can be made for certain family situations.

Salary**:$5 - 7 / hour.**
