Minimum qualifications:
- Experience driving technical discussions and resolving technical issues with Engineering leads.
- Experience with various project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience in software engineering program management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with the release process.
- Knowledgeable about Web or Android development environment.
**About the job**:
The Search Vertical team is looking for technical program managers to help organize development and scaling of Search features that will deliver new and engaging search experiences to our users.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work cross-functionally to address existing challenges with respect to execution velocity, product reliability, operations, etc., with the goal of helping Search vertical teams scale.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of Search features on multiple platforms (e.g., Android, Web) and define processes for speeding up feature development without sacrificing quality for our users and removing unnecessary process.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and cross-functional organizations to drive software development and manage technical dependencies.
- Manage technical projects, drive a multi-quarter roadmap, and communicate to a complex web of executive stakeholders.
- Exercise technical and product judgment to scope projects, manage schedules, resolve project issues, and communicate risks.
