**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in product management or technical leadership, managing teams focusing on user-facing products.
- Experience building web based products or platforms for Brazil’s online consumer market.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- 5 years of experience as a General Manager leading large scale, cross-functional teams in complex environments.
- Experience developing high-growth technology products and services.
- Experience solving ambiguous problems.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with emphasis on teamwork.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with team-oriented management style.

**About the job**:
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a vision and building a growth strategy for Search in Brazil, including the creation and operation of an execution roadmap. You will also will lead a cross-functional team of product managers, software engineers, program managers, user experience specialists, data scientists, and more.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and develop the market strategy by setting product goals and metrics to measure success, and aligning the strategy with the overall Search strategy.
- Create a roadmap and secure support from internal and external stakeholders for the execution of the devised strategy.
- Lead the execution of the roadmap, partnering with necessary internal teams, and tracking/reporting progress.
- Build a cross-functional team focused on the Search mission and set a vision/strategy to optimize Search in Brazil.
- Develop relationships with partners in the Brazilian market to support Google’s mission and participate in public events to represent Google/products.
