**About the Role and Team**:
The General Manager for Brazil serves as the business leader responsible for driving revenue for advertisers on TikTok throughout the Brazilian region. This person will develop the go-to-market strategy, prioritize key marketing narratives, and lead a team of sales leaders to deliver revenue targets. They will be responsible for identifying the needs of the business and allocating appropriate resources to drive sustained growth.
Leader will assume general management responsibilities while serving as a cross functional liaison; working with product, platform, strategy, sales operation, ad ops, monetization integrity & marketing to drive strategic priorities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Manage and oversee the entire ad sales effort for ByteDance’s global apps in BR, accountable for achieving revenue targets. Reports to GBS LATAM GM.
- Run a bi-monthly forecasting cadence to provide visibility of sales pipeline status and plan to achieve target, as well as upside and downside risks to achieving targets. Hold team members accountable for revenue goal achievements, KPIs, and engagement in all sales initiatives
- Analyse and interpret key sales metrics to create marketing strategies that produce the best scalable and sustainable results for our customers
- Work seamlessly between sales channels and business functions to drive the go-to-market strategy and operations in BR
- Drive alignment between sales and core cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Strategy, Sales Operations, Monetization Integrity and Ad Operations, as well as coordinate with broader XFN (GR/PR/User Ops/GBD etc.)
- Identify and drive revenue org productivity and efficiency improvements. Work with strategy on Annual budgeting, and monthly/quarterly tracking and insights areas of deviations and recommendations.
- Strategically assess current market trends for new sales opportunities and make recommendations for changing product offerings
- Be operationally excellent in the day-to-day running of the business including (but not limited to) forecasting, pipeline development, training, certifications, hiring, performance management, collaboration, teamwork, and best practice sharing.
- Lead a team of more than 200 people. Coach, develop and support team members while leading by example

**Qualifications**:
Qualifications
- 15+ years of leadership & management experience
- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding large sales revenue & P&L goals
- Strong analytical, sales and strategic planning background
- Driven to discover and formulate strategies and operational tactics to go after new opportunities
- Proactive and effective interpersonal relationship & communication and feedback skills
- Be an entrepreneurial thinker and not be afraid to think outside the box, take ownership and calculated risks
- Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends; excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills
- Comfortable with global travel
- Demonstrated ability to work cross culturally
- Perceived credibility with CXO clients
- Fluency in English and Portuguese.
- Additional local language strong add-on (Spanish)
- Presence and gravitas to make impactful communication in large and small groups
