**Job Description Summary**: Sr. Operations Manager

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Respond for total GA LAM sales and margin
- Develop and execute long and short-term OTR strategies
- Directly lead the Sourcing, PMO, Contract Admin, Project Management, Field Engineering & customer support teams
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices for improving our products, systems or services delivery processes.
- Uses an understanding of industry trends to the decision-making process
- Uses a high level of judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in OTR.
- Adopt a coaching attitude with directly leaders, provide them with timely, relevant and direct feedback to help them develop their leadership skills
- Supporting in building organizational capacity, reducing complexity and maximizing team performance
- Has the ability to assess the quality of incoming information and question conflicting data for analysis
- Communicates complex messages and negotiates primarily internally with others to adopt a different point of view.
- Influences colleagues to act and may negotiate with external partners, suppliers or customers
- Proactively contribute to the lessons learnt process for OTR to simplify GE processes

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in engineering (desirable: electric/electronic/automation)
- Native Portuguese, fluent English and desirable Spanish
- Professional work experienced in delivery to customers area
- Demonstrated experienced in regional or global missions.
- Team leadership experience

**Desired**
- Postgraduate or master's degree
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
- Natural leadership and capacity for cross-functional influence to mobilize and commit resources when necessary
