**Description**
General information:Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Transport and Logistics Regional Sourcing Manager - APMEA (Asia, Pacific, Middle East and Africa). This role is responsible for setting the regional Logistics Sourcing strategy in line with Company and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Practice. Ensure availability of the needed sourcing agreements and rates for the respective Region either for general cargo and for heavy lift.Responsibilities:Set, implement and execute the regional TT&L strategy for Sourcing and Supply Base Management. Monitor performance with global KPIs and drive corrective actions where needed. Manage and develop strategies, implement targets and standards/processes for the business in order to improve cost and maximize spend value. Drive implementation of sourcing processes for General Cargo and continuously benchmark the performance. Drive special projects in the region in accordance with global TT&L Strategy. Lead and provide sourcing training to ensure the on-going development of PL competencies and skills. Motivate the team and communicates on regular basis with all team members. Support on escalations for Sourcing issues to business during execution phase of the transports.Your background:Education: Graduation in Business Administration or related / desirable Postgraduate Areas of Expertise: Transport and Logistics Languages: Advanced English (required) / Spanish (desirable) / Portuguese is also must SAP System Knowledge Good communication Good activity and schedule management skills
