Bachelor's degree in engineering or business
- Deep experience in negotiating cost, managing delivery and driving supplier quality improvements (4+ years)
- Demonstrated ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners/partners to overcome obstacles and deliver results
- Experience generating department-level documents for senior management
- Experience with process development and improvement
- Demonstrated top performance in prior role(s), with increasing levels of responsibility
- Background in Brazilian indirect taxes (ICMS, PIS/COFINS, ISS, IRRF, Import Taxes, IPI, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (for Business)
- Proficiency in Portuguese + English
- Advanced Excel Spreadsheet Capability

Amazon InfraOps Planning & Sourcing (IPS) is hiring a Sourcing Analyst to support AWS´ InfraOps, Security and EHS in Latin America. We are looking for a result-oriented individual to support sourcing requirements for services, materials and equipment. You will work with internal customers to evaluate and qualify vendors, issue and manage competitive bids, and support the implementation of catalogs, contracts, managerial reports etc. You will also provide support as necessary to ensure that all required contracts are fully in accordance to local legislation and following Amazon´s policies. Moreover, create and track KPIs/Reports for Controllership and Fiduciary Controls.

Because this position involves direct contact with business owners and external parties, you must have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate and interact with people at every level, including upper management.

Responsibilities include:

- Educate internal customers and vendors on all relevant procedures and policies, especially those related to S&TP (Spending & Transaction Policy) and segregation of duties
- Partner with internal customers to positively influence spending decisions
- Create, distribute, manage, and analyze formal solicitations (RFx) for material, equipment and services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor evaluation, qualification, and competitive bidding needs
- Create, improve and document tools and processes that recognize and address customers' vendor and cost management needs
- Manage and ensure the integrity of vendor data, and all data gathered through competitive bids
- Ensure all relevant business controls are enforced and satisfied
- Collaborate with team, customers and internal business partners to identify areas for cost improvement
- Support or drive development of or changes to processes to better procure equipment and services
- Analytical, data driven approach with an attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
- Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and draw conclusions
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to audiences with varied levels of fluency
- Experience in competitive bidding and vendor qualification (4+ years)
- Experience with end-to-end procure-to-pay process
- Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer
- Demonstrated ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners/partners to overcome obstacles and deliver results
- A desire to grow professionally as the roles responsibility grows rapidly with the business

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain
- Experience in data centers, an infrastructure service provider or similar technology company
