Position Summary:
This position is responsible for managing Energizer’s Brazilian compliance functions. Supervises the work of our service providers and administrative support resources. Oversees and coordinates internal and external tax related efforts to ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and other tax reporting obligations. Assists with global transfer pricing, income tax authority examinations, and other special projects. The individual will develop effective working relationships with management, as well as finance and other operating personnel. This position reports directly to the Brazil Controller.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and review all external accounting domestic (federal, state, local) compliance outsourcing activities to ensure timely/accurate filing of all tax returns and other tax reporting obligations.
- Coordinate, monitor and review all external non

- Coordinate with Accounting Department and external accountant outsourcing teams to accumulate and review all necessary tax return information.
- Monitor domestic tax calendars (Brazil/State/Local, Sales/Use, Property, Annual reports) and non
- tax calendars to ensure all return filing due dates are met.
- Manage all State and Local tax audits including assistance from external advisors.
- Assist Vice President-Tax/Tax Director with Brazil Federal tax audits/inquiries.
- Assist Vice President-Tax/Tax Director with non
- tax audits/inquiries.
- Coordinate with external accountants to ensure all tax files/records are organized and up to date in compliance with Corporate Tax Policies (E&P, Basis, Tax Pools, audit files, etc.).
- Summarize and monitor Brazil and worldwide tax audits.
- Reconcile book tax accruals with Accounting Department and external auditors. Respond to tax related requests from external auditors and ENR non-tax departments.
- Assist Brazil Controller with worldwide transfer pricing compliance and reporting.
- Assist Brazil Controller with special projects as needed.

What we are looking for:

- 4 - 7 years corporate income tax experience.
- Leadership skills
- Direct and indirect tax experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
