This role is a Project Controller dedicated to the Brazil Motion Business Area, comprised by products (short and long cycle) and services divisions. Portfolio includes frequency Converters (also known as Drives), Electrical Motors, Generators and it´s related services (On-site, Repair Shop, Upgrades, Retrofits, Digital and etc). Wide range of customers in different industry sectors served through multiple sales channels. As a Project Controller you will act as a business partner and support project management teams in the execution and monitoring of designated projects in the aspects of financial planning and control and related commercial contracts, ensuring adherence to the established profitability targets.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Support Project Management team in all financial and commercial matters. Main focus on cost control and hedging (FX exposure).
- Lead project & backlog reviews, ensuring appropriate financial planning, providing financial guidance to the project management team and managing financial risks and opportunities.
- Responsible for the correctness of projects/sales orders balance sheet and income statement.
- Actively reviewing such figures by setting up proper set of rules and controls for the different type of businesses within the divisions.
- Drive and seek for optimization of Project/sales orders Cashflow, Revenues and GM contribution together with Project Managers.
- Supports the Project Manager in adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, business specific finance directives and instructions.
- Supports tendering team on financial aspects. Provides input to negotiations on commercial issues.
- Provides input in local risk review process.
- Support on other related business controlling activities, such as monthly closing, auditing, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting degree.
- Relevant experience in project controlling, controllership, accounting or financial project management related roles.
- Experience with SAP (SD module).
- Knowledge of Contract & Risk Management methodologies and techniques.
- Nice to have: Power BI; SAP PS module, Proficiency in Spanish
