Operations Leader Janssen

**Position Sumary**:
This position will start as Janssen SJDC Site Operations Leader until NUNKI go live (transfer Janssen operations to NewCo), and then will change to Manufacturing Director NewCo Brazil. Below the summary for each role:
**Janssen SJDC Operations Leader**:is responsible for providing overall strategic leadership for Janssen Supply Chain (JSC) Sao Jose Dos Campos manufacturing location, working with the site leadership team to establish and execute short and long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. Develops and sustains a high performing organization where outstanding teamwork, product quality, plant productivity, financial management, employee engagement, etc. are part of a transformational business imperative.

**Manufacturing Director NewCo Brazil**:act as site leader for manufacturing SJDC Consumer Health plants, including Sanpro, OB/Cottom Swabs, Band Aid, Oral Care, Toiletries, OTC (Pharm), Maintenance and Warehouse (MAM). This position works for whole manufacturing operations in SJDC being close with Facilities, EHS, Quality, and Supply Chain Organization (Planning, Make Source and Deliver).

**Main Responsibilities**:
**Janssen SJDC Operations Leader**:

- Financial and Operations Management
- Responsible for the facility’s budget and resource planning.
- Develop and report on operational metrics, including but not limited to, quality and reliability, schedule attainment, right first time and other business cascade metrics and objectives.
- Delivers agreed upon BU operating plans and budget, ensuring expenses and meet or exceeds targets, maintaining financial integrity consistent with the Company’s values.
- Establishes a Lean culture throughout the site, utilizing JJPS & Lean approaches, tools and resources to eliminate waste, simplify processes, increase productivity, reduce costs, etc.
- Business Strategic Planning & Execution
- Monitors, anticipates and responds to changing market conditions to proactively grow the business. Manages the business based on in-depth knowledge of customers and insightful and creative strategic planning:

- Ensures the development of business unit strategic plans and budgets that meet or exceed goals. Prioritizes and focuses the Site direction and energy on those activities that will ensure sustained business success.
- Partners with Product Management, Technical Operations, MAM & IT to develop programs and implement new technologies that improve cost, quality and cycle time and drive COGS optimization.
- Fosters an environment that embraces change and proactively pursues innovative opportunities that will create competitive advantage.
- Establishes and communicates a clear and compelling vision, strategy and deliverables for the site, ensuring alignment with overall JSC, MTO and platform priorities.
- Compliance - Quality, EHS, Finance: Ensures that manufacturing operations are performed under cGMP’s and meet the regulatory, quality, labour and EHS guidelines required by the various global agencies and authorities governing the SJC facility. Holds self and team accountable for high standards of quality and employee safety while maintaining high production efficiencies and cost effectiveness. Ensures all employees are trained to perform job functions consistent with cGMP’s.
- Builds and Maintains Internal and External Relationships & Communicates with Impact: Needs to develop and maintain internal and external relationships to be leveraged to drive business growth. He/she must effectively communicate within Key Customer/Stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
