We are seeking a talented **Regional Director, Brazil **to join our global organization The primary function for this role is to grow Xsolla’s regional business in Brazil. Business Development is the foremost responsibility, though this role will also oversee in part the Marketing, Account Management, Integration Management, and Administrative roles. While aligning with company targets and goals, this role will devise a local strategy, promote new business opportunities, and manage the growth of the regional market.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Complete Business Development oversight and collaborate with regional departments for overall ownership
- Directly responsible for regional team’s alignment with company goals and objectives
- Cooperation and communication with Xsolla’s corporate marketing team is essential to maintain the company’s mission and values
- Ownership of the regional P&L requires you to understand and manage regional budgets, as set by Xsolla corporate
- Monitor regional gaming trends and partner need
- Advocate for your ideas while also promoting an inclusive work environment with innovative employee contributions
- Leadership experience necessary to provide feedback, coaching, and career & personal growth opportunities to expand the overall employee experience
- Responsible for hiring & employee advancement opportunities
**KNOWLEDGE/EXPERTISE/EDUCATION**:
- 6+ years of professional experience, 3+ at Manager or Director level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or similar field
- **_Prior experience in the video game industry is a must_**:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
- Strong customer service/interpersonal skills
- Keen negotiation skills
- Effective time management and excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to immediately handle a significant workload and effectively prioritize projects with a high degree of autonomy
- Ability to travel up to 30%
**Interaction**:
- Ability to participate in or to lead special projects
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost level of professionalism
- Performs well on cross-functional project teams and with external vendors
- Collaborates with a variety of different vendors, clients, and internal partners
- Both understand and sell the product

- Well connected and experienced in the video game industry with a large network of industry members
