**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in technical program management.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- 4 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in open source software such as Gitlab, PyPI and Maven.
- Experience in working with a globally distributed team.
- Experience in process design.
- Ability to grow in new domains and context switch.
- Interest in security and risk management.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us — and we want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us. In this role, you will optimize and scale how Google employees interface with open source tooling and ecosystems.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan, design, coordinate and deliver cross-functional programs and projects that make Google's production of Operational Support Systems more secure.
- Set, coordinate, and achieve challenging project goals.
- Build trust and influence across teams.
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and asset owners across Google.
- Work on ambiguous problems, both strategic and tactical, with an immediate team that spans the globe.
