Real Estate Deal Management Senior Lead

**What You’ll Do**
This position will support the real estate team in leading the leasing portfolio within a designated region by negotiating and/or renegotiating lease negotiations and overall portfolio management.
As a Senior Lead, you have a proven grasp of the local real estate market and a detailed understanding of landlords within the designated area. Using your expertise in current real estate market trends, you are able to influence landlord and tenant relationships by predicting and addressing operational concerns for office tenants during the negotiation process.
**Who You Are**
**Core Skills and Expertise**
- Strong understanding of end-to-end office lease negotiation and lease management process
- Fluency in reading, interpreting and presenting commercial real estate data and commercial leases
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, and is able to handle large amounts of information in a comprehensive manner
- Demonstrates comprehensive deal underwriting skills
- Strong asset management skills
- Basic understanding of portfolio management
- Ability to confidently and successfully own the negotiation of lease terms
- A sophisticated understanding of the implications of deal negotiations, including:
- The financial impact from a variety of perspectives (e.g. NPV, IRR, Pay-back)
- Legal implications of lease items and associated documents
- Reliably negotiates leases that reflect financially favorable and legally sound terms
- Ability to expertly lead lease renegotiation and renewals process
- Deep understanding of office occupancy costs and CAM charges
- Project Management
**People Management Skills**
- Strong understanding of the WeWork business and able to build a deal team with appropriately varied seniority and expertise
- Expertly performs basic management practices including:
- Problem-solving;
- Prioritizing results;
- Mentor team members; and
- Leading a team
- Proactively seeks ways to improve organizational processes and outcomes
