Department: Country Management

The Department:
The Country Management department is responsible for optimising development and driving performance to maximize the local market potential of all brands and products.

Purpose of the role:
The Brand Manager will report into the Marketing Manager, Brazil and be responsible for the development and management of the brand strategy and communication plan for Brazil. They will be responsible for the creation and implementation of innovative brand campaigns to drive awareness, consideration, and engagement/conversion.

You will be responsible for:

- Leading Betway’s Brazilians customer focused multi-channel communications, visual and messaging framework, both ATL/offline and digital, across all stages of the funnel (awareness, consideration, conversion).
- Developing new local brand campaigns
- Managing a creative designer and grow the Brazilian brand marketing team.
- Continually helping to define and improve team processes to effectively deliver quality creative and output in a high-speed environment.
- Evolving and optimizing advertising communications.
- Leading creative, media, and activation deals and arbitration
- Participating in briefings, creative brainstorms, and strategy development with internal XF and marketing channel teams, as well as agency partners
- Working closely with sponsorship teams and agencies to build sports equity into brand marketing opportunities and creative activations / executions that drive value.
- Providing clear and relevant brand performance and campaign insights to senior stakeholders; as well as meaningful conclusions from brand, media, and business metrics to help inform strategies, plans, and tactics on an on-going basis.
- Driving forward marketing analytics and attribution projects that help us better understand the impact of brand campaigns on our growth and our brand metrics (MMM, brand tracking).
- Monitoring and analysing competitive media and marketing strategies, be accountable for achieving campaign and business goals.
- Tracking and reporting delivery against brand and marketing KPIs, customer acquisition targets, through planning and delivering effective multi-media ATL and digital advertising campaigns.
- Be the point of contact for legal correspondence on the team, to ensure all of our assets, strategies, communications, and plans are legally compliant, brand safe, and adhere to strict regulatory precautions.
- Managing the brand marketing budget and BCR.

You will have (Essential skills):

- Strategic thinker who can articulate the brand vision, with a consumer first focus.
- Proven experience of managing creative advertising campaigns (from initial concept to execution) and subsequent brand communications strategy across all levels of the funnel.
- Experience of managing a marketing budget with a key focus on ROI and performance.
- Strong communicator and excellent project management skills with the ability to deliver and prioritise between tactical and strategic initiatives.
- Strong ability to influence, negotiate, and manage stakeholders (both external agencies and internal teams).
- Good understanding of the Brazil sports media landscape, and a passion for sports.

It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills):

- Direct experience with performance marketing is preferred - conversion & acquisition strategies.
- Experience launching a brand and working with sports sponsorships
- Previous experience managing and creating content for social media (organic or paid)
- Good creative eye with working knowledge of design software and design skills is an asset.
- Good copywriting skills and attention to detail for review and proofing.
- Previous working experience in the sports and/or gambling/gaming industry
- Agency side experience
