OVERVIEW

The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating and increasing sales in an assigned territory in Brazil. The focus will be mainly large and mediums sized hospitals, med schools/Universities and public institutions. This is a New Business Sales opportunity with an excellent product leveraging into an established client base.

LOCATION: Reporting in the Country Segment Manager LATAM and home based in São Paulo.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Selling Clinical Effectiveness (CE) solution to Institutional customers such as Hospitals, Clinics, Medical Schools and Academic Institutions, both private and public.
- Proactively prospecting to create a robust pipeline to achieve quota on a consistent basis.
- Presenting the CE products including UpToDate and Lexicomp value proposition to end users, key decision makers and senior hospital executives.
- Managing all stages of the sales process to ensure your sales target
- Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed goals.
- Make accurate price calculations and provide customers with quotations.
- Challenge any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.
- Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
- Maintain and nurture key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies.
- Raising product awareness through sales calls, on site visits, demos, marketing conferences
- Working in tandem with Renewal Account managers to ensure a seamless handover of accounts.
- Clear understanding of its Pipeline creation, Forecast management and “revenue x target”

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A bachelor's degree in pharmacy, nursing, or medicine or related education is preferred

Experience
- 5+ years of proven experience in sales of services, software or complex medical solutions for hospitals, health groups and universities. It is a must.
- Comfortable establishing contact and selling to all levels in the organizations including physicians, medical librarians, and executives. Able to build rapport with people at any level and develop long term relationships
- A Sales hunter mentality - pro-active mindset and hands-on approach preferred
- Fluent English - written and spoken (Spanish is a plus)
- Experienced on pipeline development, forecast management and leads generation. This is business critical for success in the role.
- Public sector experience will be a plus.
- Experience of successfully increasing new sales revenues.

TRAVEL: Willing to travel approximately ~40% of time to the designated territory.
