Job summary
Amazon Moda is looking for a creative, customer-obsessed and analytical Category Marketing Specialist to help build and execute strategies focused on navigation, content and customer engagement. This position will manage all projects and experiments focused on on-site customer experience at Amazon Moda, including fashion programs, product launches, photoshoots and merchandising.
The Category Marketing Specialist will act as the point of contact for internal teams such as Amazon Marketing and Shopping Experience, on behalf of category business, centralizing requests, leading cross business projects and reporting results.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead experiments to optimize content and navigation for fashion customers;
- Benchmark best practices with stakeholders and partner teams;
- Lead Customer Experience (CX) projects in partnership with Product Management team;
- Lead customer insights research and own action points;
- Understand customer lifestyles and segmentations, and create testing plans to optimize for engagement;
- Develop and analyze performance metrics and articulate these into written narratives to drive business decisions;
- Conduct regular quality control of our website by drawing on quantitative results;
- Continuously observe industry trends and refresh the website to reflect them;
- Partner with internal teams on content creation and roadmaps;
- Develop internal marketing partnerships to adress experience gaps and opportunities to leverage value for customers;
- Drive experiments to continuously improve efficiency of marketing tactics and scale the impacts.
A day in the life
- Own fashion programs, executing optimizations and traffic strategies;
- Execute day-to-day content projects, build roadmaps and partner with teams on requirements;
- Propose and analyze the results of on-site experience testing, communicate learnings upwards and internationally, and use the data to drive future tests;
- Propose and implement customer experience improvements by using customer data;
- Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and global trends/events, and bridge them into scalable initiatives;
- Have an understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to deliver site features that provide Amazon customers with an unparalleled shopping experience;
- Work with cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external teams, while meeting tight deadlines;
- Execute fashion photoshoots, manage processes cross-teams and own optimizations.
- Experienced with A/B testing and statistics;
- Experience of analytical tools e.g. Excel;
- Familiarity with traffic metrics and reporting;
- Knowledge of SQL or other database query language.
