The Role

The responsibilities and skills for this role will include:

- Ensure Kyndryl's continued compliance with all Brazilian tax laws and regulations, including timely and accurate tax payments and returns, and ensure that appropriate Tax positions are adopeted
- Ensuring accurate recording of Income Taxes for USGAAP and Local GAAP reporting purposes
- Providing high quality tax advisory support to Kyndryl’s business units and support functions, including working cross functionally with Kyndryl’s Legal, Treasury, Finance & Accounting (including Shared Services Centers) teams to meet Kyndryl’s strategic and operational tax objectives and initiatives.
- Managing all tax legislation and controversy developments, including driving lobbying efforts and ensuring legislative and judicial developments are assessed and communicated to internal stakeholders
- Tax Authority relationship management, including coordination of tax audits and liaising with Tax Authorities as required
- Ensuring compliance with Kyndryl’s Tax Controls Framework & Tax Policies and Procedures

Who You Are
- Good understanding of accounting principles, including tax accounting, and transfer pricing.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and manage external advisors.- Practical experience in corporate income tax, including preparation and review of corporate income tax returns.
- Good understanding of regional tax laws and regulations
- Oustanding communication in English and prefereable Spanish.
- A hands-on approach with attention to detail and a high degree of flexibility is also required, as well as the ability to work under pressure.
