InterMoor Inc is looking to add an experienced **General Manager** to the team in Brazil. The General Manager directs the overall operations of the company supervising all functions within the business. The position provides strong operational oversight with responsibility for P&L management, achieving regional profitability, annual budgeting of revenue and costs, delivery of contracts to support the annual budget targets, and management of projects and operations to deliver against the contracts.

**Duties**
- Champions, administers, and provides guidance on company policies and programs addressing safety, quality and performance factors
- Develops annual plan and goals for the business ensuring they align with parent company KPI's and that all personnel goals are aligned with the InterMoor targets
- Allocates resources in accordance with corporate strategy to ensure each of the business lines provide quality services while meeting growth targets
- Oversees all departments within the business and certifies that service delivery is executed efficiently
- Initiates operational procedure reviews and drafts improvements to continually improve QHSE Policies and Procedures
- Adequately resources service lines to safely execute budgeted project needs
- Strengthens communication across the Brazil sites to exchange best in class practices and ensure operational excellence
- Ensures bids and contracts are within commercial terms acceptable to InterMoor and that the Company can reasonably meet our bid and contractual obligations
- Ensures all legal aspects of InterMoor do Brazil operations comply with local regulations and the organization's standards of business integrity
- Liaises with clients on Company execution of projects and performance feedback
- Liaise with all relevant local authorities to ensure all leases, licenses etc. are valid, up to date, etc
- Manages company's assets and resources to optimize profitability and return on investment
- Support the company President in delivery of the approved annual budget
- Reports financial performance and forecasting within defined timelines ensuring consistent and accurate forecasting
- Promotes Company services, advises President on market strategy and intelligence
- Develop strong relationship with Commercial / BD teams to develop strategy for wider scopes of fabrication work
- Prepares forecasting plans and budgets collaboratively with the President and Finance Controller
- Ensures business has sufficient skills, experience and capacity to meet all business needs
- Assists Functional Managers in identifying staff recruitment, career development, and training needs
- Adhere strictly to the Company's policies including, but not limited to, anti-bribery and Foreign Corrupt Practices
- Actively participate and lead by example in the Company's Quality and HSE Systems and Procedures
- Comply with all Health and Safety instructions from InterMoor
- Understand emergency plans, alarms and actions required in the event of an emergency

**Required**
- Bachelors or Master's degree in an Operational, Management, Finance or related discipline
- Relevant Industry experience required
- Must hold a valid passport free from status or restrictive conditions that preclude travel to and work in countries where the Company routinely operates
- Proven leadership capability with experience in supervision of direct reports and regional based indirect reports
- Strong Commercial knowledge and experience
- Financial acumen, analytical, and problem-solving ability
- Strong people management skills with the ability to delegate
- Calm under pressure with good dispute resolution skills
- Strong process orientation with effective planning capability skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Oversee and manage a P&L
- Able to manage performance, achieving operational excellence
- A 100-day plan to be developed within two weeks of commencement of duties
- Maintain recruitment levels appropriate for budgeted work
- Develop InterMoor's talent and adequately plan for succession
