An exciting opportunity is available for a companion animal veterinarian to join an outstanding team at this country mixed practice.
This is a newly developed position due to the growth of small animal work in the practice, which services an extensive dairy community as well as a growing equine and companion animal client base.
The team is vibrant and connects well socially, with a healthy bit of team spirit and a love of a beverage and French onion dip They are looking for a vet who is keen to practice at a high level and would like to develop their own area of special interest and expertise within the practice.
The clinic is well-equipped with all the expected gear to deliver quality care to small animals, including full Idexx laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, and more. The clinic can refer cases for CT and specialist procedures to a small animal practice nearby.
The practice opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm and Saturday, 8:30am to 12:00pm.
The practice works in conjunction with a local animal park, so applicants with an interest in exotics will be warmly welcome.
The hours to be worked are flexible. The practice will consider full time (4- or 5-day week), part time or FIFO/DIDO flexible arrangements.
Remuneration is dependent on the successful applicants skills and experience. Experienced vets (3+ years clinical experience) should expect a salary upwards of $100,000 P/A for a full time position. AVA membership, VSB registration plus subscription to VIN, Plumbs and other online libraries are paid for. Continuing education is strongly encouraged and supported.
