**PU Market Development Manager**
Dow has a great opportunity as PU Market Development Manager based in São Paulo(BRA). Typically regional, Market Development Manager can have a tactical or operational role that is short to medium term. According to the level of experience and expertise, they execute strategic initiatives like market mapping, market research and business development projects, under the guidance of a Senior Marketing Manager. They also lead the regional implementation of strategies developed by Marketing Managers, liaising with Sales and other functions in order to identify and execute relevant commercial opportunities. The role is located in the area in scope and requires mastery of local language(s).
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Executes simple to moderately complex market mapping, business development and lead identification projects in support of designated business strategies and activities. This typically involves the gathering and analysis of data and information on markets, industry, customers, value chain players, competitors, co-suppliers, trends, as well as its presentation in visual actionable formats using relevant Marketing models, tools, methodologies and processes that enable insights and foster execution of relevant actions by Marketing and other functions.
- Collect and analyze data by modern and traditional means, from a selection of relevant internal and external sources and approaches, including primary research through cold calling, surveys or interviews, traditional and technology-enabled leads and contact management.
- Collaborates with multi-functional teams to map markets, convert leads into opportunities, monitor lead, opportunity or contact management relevant project metrics, and may include the need to meet with customers, industry players and consumers to gather information. It may require developing insight dashboards, including live visualization across many dimensions of the market. Marketers must be able to concisely and clearly advise local teams and senior management on how to best act on project findings. This work will generally be conducted under the guidance and supervision of a more senior Marketer.
- Responsible for executing simple to moderately complex Marketing projects, mainly in area of market mapping, lead and opportunity identification. They help prepare for the local implementation of offerings and capabilities already existing in neighboring regions or adjacent segments.
- Responsible for developing the strategy of the segment as well as the implementation of the main growth platforms.
- Acts as a coordinator between sales, product and TS&D functions to balance the implementation of the strategy with the short-term tactical decisions, guaranteeing sustainable growth for the Value Center.
- It is also responsible for the innovation platforms, sustainability value proposition and communication plan for the segment.
- The person will cover Brazil and the South of LAA and be responsible for the leading the MMTs (Marketing Meetings Teams).
**Required qualifications**
- Bachelor´s Degree preferred in Chemical Engineering, Chemical, general Engineering.
- Fluent in English Language Skills.
- Intermediate in Spanish Language Skills.
**Desired qualifications**
- Master Degree is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in Marketing or Sales.
