Lawyer (Temporary Position)

Local Unit & Position Description:
DNV Global Shared Services is now looking for a lawyer to cover for maternity leave and work on the Legal team to perform the activities below:

- Review, draft and negotiate clients and supplier's contracts for Brazil, Chile and Argentina (English, Spanish and Portuguese versions)
- Draft corporate documents
- Provide legal reports and support on legislation searches
- Follow up of legal claims
- Clients Corporate Register maintenance (fill the forms, system submission and others)
- Judicial and extra judicial notifications
- Representation before public/ regulatory / custom agencies (filling forms, suit documents and follow up)
- Follow-up of ongoing liquidation and merger processes

Position Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Law
- Deep knowledge in Brazilian law
- OAB (valid)
- Portuguese Native
- Fluent in English
- Spanish Intermediary/ Advanced is a plus
- Knowledge in Company Corporate Law and Contracts
- Ability to develop strong relationships with different user groups
- Strong analytical, multi-tasking, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness
