- In this role, you will have the flexibility to organize your work between office and remote, in a hybrid work culture. _We are now looking for an experienced **Sr Specialist**, Site Sourcing** to join our Global Sourcing team in South-America.

In this role, you will support and implement innovative approaches to sourcing activities that support manufacturing organization in optimizing their site operating expenses. In this role you will be responsible to develop and execute sourcing and contracting strategy at a local and regional level focusing on Kemira manufacturing locations in South-America. You will be providing expertise and guidance on how to best manage relevant spend categories in a close co-operation with the manufacturing community and other manufacturing sourcing colleagues. You will be responsible to engage suppliers in delivering day to day operational excellence and continuous improvements. This role will report to the Sr Manager, Global Site Services and be based in one of our locations in South-America.

What you need:

- Preferably bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Engineering or other science related field.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in commercial role preferable with sourcing experience in MRO and/or Site Services categories for multi-national companies or sufficient experience from a Manufacturing Environment.
- Strong analytical and technical skills; ability to understand and define the most critical issues and develop methodologies for collecting and analyzing relevant data
- Strong supplier and internal stakeholder management skills
- Sense of urgency and Pro-active hands-on attitude. Capable of independently manage multiple tasks/ projects simultaneously within tight timeframes
- Experience with negotiating complex legal and commercial agreements terms and conditions
- In depth understanding of manufacturing environment in general, e.g. equipment contracting and supplier management practices
- Ability to communicate technical and manufacturing issues clearly with Suppliers, Business stakeholders, and relevant internal functions
- Capability and willingness to operate in an ever changing environment and still able to move towards the set goalpost
- Strong understanding of MS Office, SAP and eSourcing tools
- Readiness to travel in South America
- Language skills: Portuguese (intermediate), Spanish (intermediate) and English (intermediate)
