Job summary

Amazon Transportation Operations Management (TOM team) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated member. Tactical responsibilities include (but are not limited to) working with Fulfillment Center (FC) management, local carrier hubs, and other Amazon transportation and supply chain functions and help critical customer partners on how to best use Amazon transportation services.

Four key areas that you’ll always focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your department.
- Collaborate with Fulfillment Center Leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including the root cause analysis of problem areas
- Streamline logistics in the operation through the implementation of standard work and team leadership
- Support and commit to all safety programs and EHS compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates
- Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools
- Support Middle mile strategy and execution
- Experience working in distribution center/fulfillment center operations utilizing lean principles.
- Up to 25% travel (domestic).
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field is a plus
- Management experience in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.
- Interest in long-term career development through assignments in multiple facilities.
