**Job Overview**:
The Buyer is responsible for purchasing raw materials, components, and finished goods to meet customer order requirements efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Manage Procurement Activities (50%)**

Oversee order placement, obtain supplier quotes, and review proposals with internal teams. Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- **Lead Supply Chain Improvements (10%)**

Identify and actively participate in supply chain and supplier productivity improvements.
- **Supplier Selection & Performance (10%)**

Participate in supplier selection, monitor performance, and drive corrective actions in areas like on-time delivery and commercial compliance.
- **Maintain Product Costing (10%)**

Ensure accurate costing for materials and components. Oversee supplier compliance with commercial, quality, and legal standards.
- **Troubleshoot Supply Problems (10%)**

Analyze supply issues that impact on-time delivery and collaborate on solutions.
- **Issue Purchase Orders (10%)**

Manage purchase orders for MRO/Indirect material as needed.

**Supervision**:

- Works independently on routine tasks and receives general instructions on new assignments.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education & Experience**

Associates degree preferred with 1-3 years of experience in operations planning or purchasing.
- **Certifications**

APICS or other planning certification preferred. Experience with MRP/ERP systems is beneficial.
- **Language Skills**

Strong proficiency in English is required.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: R$17,045.45 - R$29,830.90 per month
