**Job Overview**:The Buyer is responsible for purchasing raw materials, components, and finished goods to meet customer order requirements efficiently.**Key Responsibilities**:- **Manage Procurement Activities (50%)**Oversee order placement, obtain supplier quotes, and review proposals with internal teams.Monitor supplier performance and initiate corrective actions as needed.- **Lead Supply Chain Improvements (10%)**Identify and actively participate in supply chain and supplier productivity improvements.- **Supplier Selection & Performance (10%)**Participate in supplier selection, monitor performance, and drive corrective actions in areas like on-time delivery and commercial compliance.- **Maintain Product Costing (10%)**Ensure accurate costing for materials and components.Oversee supplier compliance with commercial, quality, and legal standards.- **Troubleshoot Supply Problems (10%)**Analyze supply issues that impact on-time delivery and collaborate on solutions.- **Issue Purchase Orders (10%)**Manage purchase orders for MRO/Indirect material as needed.**Supervision**:- Works independently on routine tasks and receives general instructions on new assignments.**Qualifications**:- **Education & Experience**Associates degree preferred with 1-3 years of experience in operations planning or purchasing.- **Certifications**APICS or other planning certification preferred.Experience with MRP/ERP systems is beneficial.- **Language Skills**Strong proficiency in English is required.**Core Behaviors**:- **Adaptability & Flexibility** (5)Efficiently plan and manage tasks and projects, while adjusting to challenges.- **Customer Focus** (4)Committed to customer satisfaction and meeting expectations.- **Initiative** (3)Take independent action to solve problems and seek new opportunities.- **Interpersonal Skills** (3)Negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.- **Teamwork** (4)**Job Type**: ContractContract length: 12 monthsPay: R$17,****** - R$29,****** per monthWork Location: In person
