Job summary
The Fire TV team is looking for an enthusiastic and creative Engagement Manager to help expand our business and raise the bar on the content discovery and engagement experience on Fire TV. In this role, you’ll build a deep understanding of Fire TV customers along with the apps available on Fire TV, and you’ll find new ways to surface content based on these insights.
You will own the Fire TV on-device experience working with local and global app partners to surface the most relevant content to existing users. We are looking for an innovative, highly motivated, and experienced individual.
You’ll also be responsible for conceptualizing, executing, and continually improving end-to-end lifecycle campaigns, with a particular emphasis on driving early engagement.
You will have demonstrable expertise in data-driven lifecycle strategy as well as campaign execution and measurement. You will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity as we test our way into new marketing placements and channels. You will have shown you’re able to work in a dynamic, international environment and can deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
- Own engagement campaigns and on-device content from end to end: manage targeting and segmentation, messaging, planning and execution as well as reporting on individual campaign results and bigger picture trends.
- Determine strategy for individual lifecycle cohorts.
- Develop and analyze performance metrics and articulate these into written narratives to drive business decisions.
- Partner across internal teams to develop and implement optimal customer experiences.
- Understand product and department strategy in order to build themes and topics for targeted persona’s.
- Engage with business intelligence, engineering, and merchandising teams to create and execute a test and learn plan to drive engagement and prevent churn.
- Partner closely with product to create the best customer experience for early engagement and product education.
- Write campaign performance reviews, and a monthly review of progress against targets.
- Conduct deep dive analyses to understand campaign performance and uncover customer insight.
A day in the life
You will work closely with other marketing and product teams to create, flight, test and track digital campaigns and storefront experiences. You’ll have an eye for compelling content and CX, an aptitude for cross-functional partnership, and a passion for testing. You will hold a high bar for execution and measurement of performance, and will define success.

The Fire TV Engagement Marketing team’s mission is to delight customers with engaging campaigns and on-device experiences. By nurturing our relationships with Fire TV customers, we contribute to the powerful flywheels for Prime, Advertising, and Alexa through on-device experience and usage. Our vision is to find new and better ways to bring customers the content they love and want—and make it easy to discover new content they might not have heard of yet.
- High comfort level with KPIs measurement practices and attribution methods
- Previous experience with lifecycle campaigns with proven results in driving engagement
- Previous experience in building onboarding, loyalty and/or re-engagement and re-activation programs
- Experience in A/B testing
- Experience in site merchandising
