About the Team
The Global Payments team provides payment solutions to ensure that users have a smooth and secure payment experience across our platforms and services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take overall responsibility for the management and decisions of Global Payment Brazil.
- Act as the main point of contact between the Brazilian entity and the Global Payments Team.
- Lead the Brazil Payment Executive Board to identify, create and implement strategic plans to actualize business objectives.
- Deliver strategy and operations of Global Payment Brazil. Responsible for the Brazilian entity go-to-market plan.
- Lead the Senior Management team and staff at Global Payment Brazil
- Develop partnerships with company stakeholders, shareholders, regulators, banks and fintechs.
- Oversee the overall governance structure and risk control, ensuring Global Payment Brazil is able to make informed, compliance decisions aligned to its strategic goals and regulatory environment.
- Responsible for complying with the standards and independent audit procedures provided for in current regulations.
- Develop the organizational culture and promote transparency and collaboration throughout the local organization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 10+ years experience in payment, fintech, bank or regulated financial services. In-depth knowledge of payment landscape.
- 5+ years in a management role. Ability to lead a high performance team, having worked in a tech environment with a proven track record in developing and launching regulated financial businesses in Brazil from the ground up.
- Familiar with payment-related financial compliance, risk, financial services regulations, and industry standards applicable to fintech businesses. Experience working with the Central Bank of Brazil is highly preferred.
- Excellent team player, strong stress tolerance, data driven and good at result-oriented thinking, able to support cross-time zone, cross-functional team, multi-task parallel work atmosphere;
- Highly adaptable and comfortable working in a varied and multi-cultural environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, hands on and able to work autonomously if required.
- Excellent communication skills
