**About the team**:
Our legal team provides key support for all TikTok’s innovative initiatives, state-of-the-art products, and integrated platforms servicing our global video market. We help our technological and business teams enable their vision by providing integrated legal guidance and support. The TikTok team is growing fast and is seeking highly experienced, bright and capable legal professionals to join the Global Legal team. One of the critical challenges is the need for our team to provide exceptional legal support for litigation matters in the countries where the platform operates. This position will be part of the Global Legal Litigation Department, and will partner and collaborate with the Americas Legal team focused on Brazil and Latin America, as well as Global Legal Privacy colleagues. The following describes the responsibilities and requirements for the role.

**Responsibilities**:
Work closely with in-house litigation counsel on general litigation matters, reporting to the Litigation Counsel Lead:

- Manage the legal hold process for Brazil and Latam matters;
- Map the activities of the litigation team;
- Assist in the implementation of the matter management internal system, designing workflows and developing reports, tables, graphics, and other visual aids;
- Assist in the automation of internal office processes and ensure compliance with procedures within the team's internal target;
- Track matter deadlines, report docket updates, and maintain a litigation calendar, scheduling deadlines for administrative and judicial proceedings;
- Create standard operating procedures and work instructions;
- Produce and maintain reporting metrics on litigation matters, including litigation, pre-litigation, and regulatory docket;
- Work closely with the Legal Operations team;
- Keep folders organized and the management system updated on the company's legal system;
- Produce and maintain budget control and analysis regarding outside counsel fees and lawsuit contingency.

**Qualifications**:
**Must have**:

- Degreed in Administration, Finance, Business or related areas
- More than 3 years of experience
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with document review technology and workflow
- Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- Great written and verbal communication skills, both in Portuguese and English
- Ability to handle a varied workload and prioritize as needed
- Familiarity with technology and comfortable learning new technology
- Demonstrates an awareness and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of those with different backgrounds, experience or orientation, and an ability to work within a diverse, multicultural, international work environment
- Analytical skills and ability to interpret legal and financial information;
**Bonus if you have**:

- In-house experience, particularly in tech, digital media, media or advertising industry;
- Experience in matrixed, global organizations.
