About the Department - PCV, Belo Horizonte

Our Pumps, Cyclones & Valves (PCV) Business Line is at the forefront of delivering integrated solutions that keep our mining customers’ operations moving. In South America, and particularly in Minas Gerais, the mining sector is critical to global supply chains, and our Belo Horizonte hub is strategically positioned at the heart of it.

Role Summary

The Account Manager, Site Sales will play a critical role in strengthening our market presence and building trusted partnerships with mining customers in Minas Gerais. As the key account owner, you will manage relationships, identify opportunities, and ensure that customers achieve maximum productivity through FLS full range of life cycle offerings.

This is not just a sales role, it is a strategic customer-facing position where your technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and proactive engagement will directly shape the growth of our business and the satisfaction of our customers.

Job Responsibilities- Customer Relationship Management- Build, strengthen, and retain long-term relationships with mining customers.- Maintain strong on-site presence at customer facilities across Minas Gerais.- Act as the trusted partner and first point of contact for all account-related needs.- Business Development & Sales Growth- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and new accounts.- Map key stakeholders and decision-makers, ensuring strong customer engagement.- Drive account strategies to capture opportunities and expand market share.- Technical Expertise & Solutions- Present, demonstrate, and explain the features, benefits, and value of slurry pumps, hydro cyclones, and knife gate valves.- Perform technical evaluations of installed equipment and recommend upgrades, optimizations, or replacements.- Provide tailored technical solutions aligned with customer operational needs.- Commercial Execution- Prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals, including specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.- Negotiate and close contracts ensuring customer satisfaction and business profitability.- Monitor project progress and ensure smooth execution of sales and delivery commitments.- Customer Support & Service- Provide post-sales support, including product training, troubleshooting, and service coordination.- Ensure customers receive consistent value across the full product life cycle.- Collaborate with service teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.- Market & Industry Insights- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies.- Provide customer insights to internal teams for product development and strategy.- Contribute to FLS position as an industry thought leader.- Cross-functional Collaboration- Coordinate closely with engineering, service, and supply chain teams to ensure delivery excellence.- Engage with global colleagues to share knowledge, align strategies, and deliver best-in-class solutions.

Qualifications & Experience- Degree in Mechanical, Mining, Electrical, or Production Engineering.- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales of mining equipment, spare parts, or consumables.- Strong technical knowledge of
