In this position, you will offer technical support to achieve commercial objectives with our customers by being a proactive business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Product Manager. With a focus on:

- Maintaining and growing current business.
- Introducing innovations to the regional market.

Wat we vragen
- Sound technical background (MSc Food Technology or alike), and preferably technical knowhow on Adult and/or Early Life Nutrition and/or its ingredients (dairy proteins, hydrolysates, GOS, etc.).
- Enjoy fast-paced commercial environment, which requires proactive stakeholder management and relation building abilities (marketing, sales, supply chain, QA, development and customers).
- Prepare and contribute customer visits, by utilizing your expertise to provide input, advice on product specifications and value propositions.
- MSc in relevant discipline, preferable in Food Technology or related field with at least 3 years of working experience.
- Alternatively, be able to document ample experience in food technology and product development.

Pre-requisites:
1) Graduation: Food Engineering, Nutrition, Agronomy or similar fields

2) Experience: minimum 10 years

3) Native/Fluent in English and Portuguese; Spanish: intermediate

Use this relationship to gain insights into customer needs and translate these needs into technical solutions and internal development projects. - Your involvement in creating innovations that fit customer needs and landing those innovations: Participate in the End-to-End innovation process through continuous interactions with Marketing, PGM, Development Clusters, and New Product Development teams. Share your view on customer and market needs and provide input on project requirements. Support the development of Value Propositions for the region and roll out innovations to the market by training the sales team and presenting and discussing the innovation with customers from a technical perspective.

**Skills**:1. Influence and execute the innovation roadmap:

- Responsible for communication of regional insights and needs to broader FrieslandCampina Ingredients team

2. Contribution to lead generation and opportunity pipeline
- Challenge incoming leads and generate new leads with customers and prospects, have them converted into opportunities and eventually valuable innovations

3. Customer relation management
- Provides direct support for regional customers
- Works closely and within the Technical, Regulatory and Commercial Frameworks with regional Application Technologis to provide optimal support for the customer request

4. Stakeholder Management
- Collaboration with regional Commercial teams, global FCI TSS and Application Group and broader R&D
- Makes sure the regions’ needs are included in the Application Roadmap

5. Knowledge Management
- Responsible for collection of regional knowledge within area of own responsibility and its transfer to the global team.
