**What you’ll do**
The Sr INdsutry Consultant leverages extensive industry expertise and networks in government to drive revenue growth for the Fraud & Security Intelligence (F&SI) Division. Creates and delivers credible and unique viewpoints to differentiate SAS in the market. Actively works with sales teams and partners in support of sales opportunities and provides strategic impact to the industry sales go-to-market plans.
**You will**:
Provides government domain sales support through sales calls, client visits and presentations contributing to new revenue generation.
- Designs technical architectures in which SAS solutions are integrated into government IT systems.
- Creates and executes technical demonstrations that highlight SAS capabilities.
- Coaches the sales force on government account strategies and leads the sales organization with new account penetration strategies.
- Develops and maintains relationships with partners, key consultancies, and system integrators to establish focused and effective strategic teaming arrangements.
- Develops sales strategy for government integrity, fraud, waste, and abuse across the Latin America region that enables the SAS sales force to establish SAS as the key industry analytics partner. Activities include the following: identifying industry trends and sources of major disruption in the industry by country and/or region, establishing strategic vision and value propositions based on SAS offerings, and articulating a solution capability at the C-level. This sales strategy will address what to sell and how to sell and will identify any gaps in SAS’ existing offerings that need to be addressed.
- Supports thought leadership activities including articles, whitepapers, blogs, speaking engagements and involvement with key industry organizations.
- Trains Customer Advisors, Pre-sales, Partners, and delivery teams on the usage of F&SI solutions.
- Prepares and delivers presentations and demonstrations to clients at the highest levels of management at both summary and detailed levels, as appropriate.
- Participates with senior management to identify and establish objectives, assignments, and goals in accordance with SAS Fraud & Security Intelligence Division strategic plans; assists in targeting specific clients and business partners to promote industry sales and marketing initiatives.
- Identifies sales support resources required to deliver appropriate SAS solution design.
- Assists with providing market-driven information for future product direction using industry expertise and direct interaction with clients, prospects, analysts, and other external resources.
- Builds credibility and trusted advisor relationship with clients.
- Required to travel on a frequent basis.

- Participates in business process discussions and improvement sessions.
- Articulates product capabilities into terms of client business context.
- Familiar with SAS and competitive products in area of responsibility.

**What we’re looking for**
- Demonstrated Industry relationships and credibility
- Specialized knowledge in government integrity, fraud, waste, and abuse. Examples include tax evasion, health care fraud, policing, intelligence, social benefit programs, and customs/borders.
- Demonstrated ability to present to all levels of an organization
- Excellent analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
- Fundamental understanding of decision support and operation software systems
- Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision, or as part of a team
- Ability to understand and translate complex technical and business information to internal/external audiences
- Public speaking experience
- Fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish is required.
- You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
- Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related discipline
**The nice to haves**
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or similar credential is desired but not required
- Experience working as a government employee is desired but not required
