Do you have proven experience in the Brazilian power trading and/or generation market? And would you like to join a dynamic trading company backed by the global energy major Equinor? Then you might be just who we are looking for to support our Power Trading unit in Brazil.

**Here’s what the job entails**

You will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our power portfolio in the Brazilian market.

Concretely, your areas of responsibility will include the following:

- analyse market conditions, supply and demand dynamics, and regulatory changes to optimise the power trading portfolio for maximum profitability
- monitor and evaluate power market developments, including price trends, policy changes, and emerging opportunities
- price short
- and long-term products presented by Originators and Traders
- propose effective trading strategies, encompassing spot and forward trading, hedging, and derivatives trading, to achieve portfolio objectives
- generate regular reports on portfolio performance and market outlook to senior management
- collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including traders, analysts, and risk management, to achieve overall business objectives

You will join a team of highly skilled and engaged Traders, who set the bar high. They are all working to ensure the best possible profitability for Danske Commodities and act as the route-to-market for the parent company Equinor’s renewable assets

Also, we are searching for someone who work strategically and is skilled at utilising in-depth knowledge of power markets and trading strategies.

We imagine that you:

- have a relevant Bachelor's degree within Finance, Economics or Engineering
- are experienced in the Brazilian power trading market or generation markets
- have strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools
- are fluent in Portuguese and English
- take an analytical and curious approach when analysing data
- are reliable and quality conscious
