**The Role**:
**Position Purpose**

As part of the T&S business and located in Brazil´s heart of financial district, Shell Energy Brasil (“SEB”) organizationally reports to Shell Energy Americas (“SEAm”) with P&L responsibility to be the single customer interface to market and trade downstream power, gas and environmental products in Brazil.
- What’s the role?_

As the Senior Originator, you are responsible of the following
Bring, develop and maintain wholesale customer relationships, especially large power suppliers and consumers that require special attention due to corporate complexity of private and public energy groups in Brazil.
- Manage key accounts fully aligned with compliance requirements as outlined on the Shell Business Principles Code.
- Negotiate, close and implement transactions, including coordination and approvals necessary for deal negotiation, execution and implementation.
- Bring, develop and maintain customer relationships, especially power trading companies (“Comercializadoras de Energia”), power suppliers and final consumers.
- Manage accounts and transact energy products fully aligned with compliance requirements as outlined on the Shell Business Principles Code.
- Participate on the effort to promote a regulatory advocacy regarding market reforms that are aligned with Shell Energy business long term objectives.
- Engage with various Shell teams in the region on mid-term and long term opportunities, working with other parts of the Shell Energy group, including power, SLMT, environmental products and New Energies.
- Meet targets for profitability, volume and other key metrics.

**Skills & Requirements**
- What we need from you
- Must have legal authorization to work in the Brazil on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
- At least ten (10) years work experience in a similar role within Brazil’s power market is a must.
- Proven success record developing and closing power transactions in the “Ambiente de Contratacao Livre” or “ACL” at the levels described in Key Dimensions.
- Extensive network and relationship with power suppliers, such as utilities, independent power producers and Marketers as well as large industrial consumers.
- Deep knowledge of products traded by bilateral customers, including price formation, credit risk analysis and contractual framework.
- Detail knowledge of market and operation rules of the various local entities that encompass the framework of the power industry in Brazil such as ONS, CCEE, EPE and ANEEL.
- Knowledge of Competitive Intelligence skills to ensure the business can react to competition in order to ensure business thrive in the open market.
- Understating of stochastic model Newave/Decomp and impact of weather variable in the prices published by CCEE.
