Bachelor’s Degree in food science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology or related areas
- 5+ years of experience with local Product and Food compliance regulations
- Experience using understanding of complicated scientific methods and technical terms to communicate effectively with personnel from multiple areas of the business
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Experience analyzing data to identify trends and patterns that trigger some action
- Experience in product safety regulations
- Compliance and project management experience

We are looking for a Product and Food Safety Manager to support the Compliance Programs.

In this role you will be responsible of executing the global strategies into local marketing that may include coordinate the Safety investigation (SI) program, implement word wide SI harmonization process in LATAM, support new Market places expansions and ensure local regulatory compliance.

This position is key to achieve a competitive advantage for the company since Amazon understands that the Customer behavior is evolving and that are increasingly searching for high quality products fully compliant with local regulations. This position will ensure that these products meet local market place requirements, exceed customer expectations and comply with local laws.

Key job responsibilities
- Perform local safety and compliance assessment for high risk categories supporting BR expansions and new initiatives;
- Perform Safety Assessment to support business in alignment with selling partners;
- Lead global escalations related to high severity issues (deaths) in LATAM;
- Lead the Products and Food Safety Investigations (PFSI) program for LATAM;
- Support WW Product Safety Standardization Project;
- Update the Decision Trees, document process in SOPs and training the COPs team;
- Control and Improvement of the metrics in WBR for LATAM;
- Selling Partner Control support. (proactive listing controls in Seller Central review);
- Support Product and Food Safety reinstatements;
- Support new market places expansion projects with the product and food Safety regulations screening;
- Lead the implementation of PFSC programs in new Market places;
- Implement WW FSI harmonization process in LATAM.

- Ability to turn complex compliance requirements into scalable processes
- Excellent command of Spanish and English (verbal and written)
- High precision and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
