Network Specialist

**What you'll be doing**
- Creating reviews, tests, and comments, and providing advice on processes, tasks, and programs;
- Evaluating and monitoring the performance of resources, suggesting and arranging for improvement actions;
- Updating, feeding, and issuing technical reports and/or other specific documents;
- Following up on processes with suppliers, clients, and third parties to ensure compliance with negotiated terms, costs, and quality, while suggesting updates and changes in processes and procedures;
- Identifying service needs and requesting the necessary materials, documents, tools, and/or equipment for implementation;
- Offering information and guidance to internal and/or external clients based on valid analyses and rules;
- Processing Service Requests for the activation and deactivation of complex client products;
- Monitoring the Service Request process and tasks transferred to other teams, guiding as needed;
- Leading complex client deployments involving managed service products;
- Communicating with clients using detailed project plans;
- Engaging and directing multifunctional internal partners in the project team;
- Possessing a fundamental technical knowledge of all Equinix products/processes;
- Independently resolving client issues and concerns, with managerial assistance when required.

**What we’ll expect from you**
- Experience with small, medium, and large Routers and Switches and with TCP/IP;
- Advanced knowledge in Spanning Tree, eVPN, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MPLS, and VRF protocols;
- Knowledge in Load Balancing;
- Intermediate level of English;

**What will be a plus if you have**
- Expertise in FW Fortigate, Big-IP F5, and Cisco A10 technologies.
- Solid knowledge in Linux/Unix;
