5+ years relevant work experience in Payments
- Experience with Brazil's payments ecosystem (credit and debit cards, boletos, PIX, acquiring, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving abilities
- Experience driving small to medium sized projects
- Experience managing external relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- Portuguese and English fluency

Job summary

The Payments Business Operations Team supports the larger payments teams including software development, product management and technical operations. The Business Operations team is responsible for driving operational efficiencies and escalation reduction opportunities. This team also manages the operational relationship with third party payment partners, advocating for customer experience and driving operational improvements. Additionally, this team is the first contact for payment transactional issues, receiving escalations from internal clients such as Customer Service, Finance, Accounting and Fraud as well as third party partners and banks relied upon to process payments.

Portuguese and English fluency required. This role is responsible for managing key payments partners and driving operational excellence. In addition to managing external partners, this role is required to serve as a hands-on analyst, resolving escalations, grounding and driving improvement projects to improve customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive overall direction and development of external payments partners (performance, roadmap, etc);
- Manage partner performance;
- Work on high severity issues and escalations involving external partners;
- KTLO activities;
- Leverage partners for consultative/assessments of key service elements or new businesses;
- Assess prospective partners on their operational capabilities;
- Negotiate operational requirements.
- SQL or similar skills
- Strong Operations background
