The RA Special Projects Strategy Lead LATAM will bring efficiencies to deliver the submission plan by centralizing and coordinating some strategic activities and discussions for all Latin America countries such as Bundling / Interdependencies, variants / data management and process improvement. Also, may serve as a technical expert within the job function, representing the LATAM countries in operational projects discussions.

**POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Proactively identifies process improvement opportunities and develops plan for execution.
- Provides solution to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Ensure bundling/interdependencies analysis and discussions are in place to evaluate implementation feasibility
- Coordinates with external consulting services to maintain data accuracy in MDRIM
- Coordinates variant management, including the centralized evaluation of actions to be performed for each country to upload variants in MDRIM
- Represents LATAM countries in operational projects discussions
- Identify and coordinate activities that can be centralized so the country specialists can focus on submission plan
- Functional area trainer, responsible for conducting the technical area training needs for the group (i.e. job aids, working tools etc.).
- Involved with the preparation of necessary outlines, summaries, status reports, memos, graphs, charts, tables, and slides as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by RA Special Projects LATAM Sr Manager

**Qualifications**
- University/Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required. Degree within a technical related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience in Regulatory affairs is preferred.
- **_A_**bility to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to problem solve, recognize and find solutions for gaps in processes
- Experience working with multiple country regulations and Medical Devices is preferred
- A combination of background, education, and experience can be considered.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and preferable a second language (i.e. Spanish or Portuguese)
