Senior HR Generalist

Local Unit & Position Description:
Global Shared Services Human Resources in DNV South America (Argentina, Brazil and Chile) is looking for a Temporary Senior HR Generalist to support the Operations and Advisory team. This role will be based in our Regional Office in Rio de Janeiro. The Senior HR Generalist role is the first port of call for managers and employees, able to deal with 80% of the queries and support and the subsequent follow up in systems and HR administration.

Tasks include:

- Respond to general HR enquiries from employees or the business areas
- Work on cases/requests by employees
- Maintain employee files and respond to requests for information
- Track team’s work progress
- Request legal opinions with external lawyers whenever needed
- Communicates solutions to staff
- Manage New Hire offers and onboarding process
- Data management in HR system
- Labor documents elaboration,
- Vendors managements/follow up
- Support to Global Mobility aspects in an Advisory role
- Support Recruitment in an Advisory role
- Support process of constant improvements, discussing opportunities for efficiency or cost savings or other quality improvements
- Support the Salary Adjustment process: performance management, compensation, and benefits review processes
- Provide support on other HR-related activities as and when required
- Employer Branding
- Intranet updates
- Provide standard HR reports and statistics
- Support to D&I projects
- Support / Coordinate terminations and exit interviews and metrics
- Support regional and global HR projects
- Other HR related tasks

Position Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related area
- 8+ years’ experience as an HR Generalist
- Broad based knowledge of HR functional areas
- Previous experience in a shared services environment (preferred)
- Previous experience in a position with a mid to high level of interaction with globally centered departments and colleagues (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- Attention to detail
- Exemplary ethics and dedication to professionalism and quality
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to handle confidential material and comply with privacy concerns and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Portuguese Native
- Spanish is desirable

Temporary of 10 months.
