Within Crop Science, the Product Strategy area works in the strategic definition of the company's future, managing portfolio and innovation with a strong focus on the farmer, bridging the gap between the Research and Commercial areas, developing the commercial value proposition for the customer. and partners.
The specific area of Seed Treatment (SeedGrowth) is the one that has had the most growth in recent years, with the Soy market being the main basis for this growth. In this area, you will have the opportunity to develop a holistic view of the entire Seed Treatment portfolio, focusing on countries where this culture is important, from creation to product delivery. It will interface with different areas, working together with a diverse and collaborative team that is very connected to innovation, with a strong leadership role. And you will also have the opportunity to work with project management and support the team to coordinate actions that can take Bayer to another level in the market, differentiating us from the competition.
**YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO**:
- Deliver a 10 years strategy and view for project valuation and production needs for SGR in soybean LatAm Market;
- Develop near-term (3 year) customer value plans for crop protection assets, including pricing, portfolio development, and life cycle management to deliver annual budget aligned with long-range plan;
- Define in the region the right product portfolio and positioning as key enablers for business value maximization across branded and licensed businesses;
- Leads team to define and prioritized regional Seed Treatment portfolio ;
- strategy for Soybean based on regional soybean strategy;
- Define product position and value proposition and ensure enabling of countries for their implementation (includes developing pricing;
- strategy, share targets, volume, brand strategies);
- Define new product requirements, LCM activities, new uses and portfolio
- streamlining in line with country and customer needs, supported by
- R&D/Project Management;
- Prepare for and drive launch of new products within the region, ensure
- availability and adoptions of brand packages and communication points
- for key products;
- Define product value and price objective, aligned with global asset management, the Strategic Business team and the regional business strategy, to enable price strategy and corridors within crops;
- Works with Soybean Seed Business Lead and Customer Marketing to provide brand strategies and GTM objectives;
- Tracks position relative to competition, including identifying risks, opportunities and strategic actions.
**ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?**
- Experience in ag business, marketing or sales functions (required);
- University degree completed in Agronomy, Marketing or Administration required;
- Fluent in Portuguese and English required;
- Spanish desired;
- Planning and alignment;
- Strong sense of collaboration;
- Strong learning agility;
- Effective communication and strong persuasion;
- Proven experience in leadership by influence required.
