**ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW**

As an independent, not-for-profit business association, the MRC mission is to facilitate collaboration between eCommerce payments and risk professionals. Year-round, the MRC provides valuable resources to its members that include proprietary educational content, webinars, best practices, industry trends, benchmarking reports and whitepapers. In addition, the MRC hosts five annual conferences in the US, Europe, and Asia as well as several regional networking events which provide an opportunity for industry professionals to build stronger connections with industry stakeholders.

With the vision of making commerce safe and profitable everywhere, the MRC was established in the year 2000 by eCommerce professionals from leading consumer brands invested in supporting their organizations’ risk management efforts. Today, the MRC supports a diverse mix of over 550 companies representing a wide variety of industries, technologies, services, and solutions focused on optimizing payments and reducing eCommerce fraud.

The Region Manager for LATAM is part of the MRC membership team and will support the deliverables of the MRC in target LATAM markets, with a focus on eCommerce payments, risk, fraud, and relevant regulations. The Region Manager will be responsible for growing membership, programs, and events in target LATAM markets.

We are seeking a bi-lingual, bright, positive, self-motivated, and flexible individual.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
This position directly supports the membership, programs, and event departments at the MRC. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
**MRC LATAM Membership Management**
- Work together with the LATAM regional Co-Leaders to identify opportunities to recruit new members in the region.
- Provide support to MRC members based in LATAM and globally as needed.
- Provide new LATAM member orientations and Quarterly Business Reviews to ensure the members are engaged and receiving value from the membership.
- Maintain and update membership records and statistical summaries for reporting purposes, using the tools provided, e.g. Salesforce.
- Manage membership retention in LATAM and work with accounting to collect on outstanding invoices.
- Work with the global membership team to optimize membership structure and processes in order to effectively and efficiently serve the global MRC community.
- Manage the MRC LATAM Advisory Board, coordinating meetings, agendas, prep documents, etc.
- Identify opportunities for regional partnerships and speaking opportunities to drive awareness of the MRC and its mission.

**MRC Conferences and Networking Events**
- Support the Events team, Programs team and Conference Committee in producing MRC LATAM conferences and virtual events.
- Deliver MRC Connects events in target LATAM markets (1 per quarter), including sponsor recruitment and venue management.
- Host networking events and activities as needed.
- Represent MRC at key industry events in the region.

**MRC Community Group**
- Develop a LATAM community group, recruiting target merchants in the region, setting agendas and ensuring the content is addressing key issues impacting the LATAM audience.

**Weekly Webinars**
- Support the MRC Webinar Wednesday Program covering LATAM sessions, ensuring those delivered by representatives of MRC members in LATAM are fit for purpose and of the highest standard.
- Manage delivery of the webinars including planning, securing, and working with speakers, ensuring content is relevant and suitable, management of registrations, reports, administration and working with the MRC marketing team for any required promotion.

**Program Webpages**
- Work together with the MRC Programs team to ensure necessary web content is current and suitable for the LATAM audience.
- Develop new content in conjunction with MRC APAC Co-Leaders. Work with the team to promote all MRC Programs to members and non-members in the region.

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum 3 years working in eCommerce, preferably in a fraud and/ or payments role
- Strong people skills
- Experience managing programs and events
- Experience managing partnerships and working with large eCommerce brands
- Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree, a plus
- Experience delivering projects from start to finish
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and user forums/ communities/ working groups
- Comfortable public speaking, especially on topics relating to payments and fraud prevention
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
- Ability to travel throughout LATAM, North America, and elsewhere as needed
- Successful track record working in a team environment, and equally comfortable working on a fully remote team.
