Combine your extensive mine planning experience as a Mining Engineer or similar Mining professional credentials along with your exceptional interpersonal and commercial skills to oversee and grow KPI Mining customer base worldwide
Given KPI Mining’s global reach, there will be some travel.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Develop and execute on strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base
- Develop new business, draft proposals and negotiate contracts
- Development of new business in core channels and market segments with consideration for new prospective channels
- Build collaborative relationships with customer stakeholders, including technical teams, managers, and corporate executives
- Representing the company at industry events and conferences
- Negotiating contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Working with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted sales strategies
- Providing accurate sales forecasts and reporting to the management team
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth
- Monitoring competitors, market conditions, and industry trends
**To qualify for the role, you must have**:
- Exceed customer expectations by delivering increased value from existing investments and building genuine partnerships
- Manage customer relationships professionally, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
- Engage in global knowledge sharing with our mining consultants and technical sales professionals.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in direct sales
- Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated commitment, teamwork, and collaboration in a professional setting.
- High energy level, focus and ability to work well in demanding client environments.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Unquestionable professional integrity, credibility, and character.
**About You**:
- You have held previous sales or customer relationship management roles and dealt with commercial negotiations.
- Solid experience in software sales in the Mining industry.
- Degree-qualified in Mining Engineering or similar technical qualification.
- Significant experience in the mining industry, holding extensive experience in sales and business development.
- Solid understanding of site operations and the mining industry
- Understanding of mining engineering and mining technical problems
- Skilled in assembling people and technology.
- You have a restless desire to achieve targets and results.
- You are great with technology and will become an expert in communicating the value of KPI Mining solutions (fluency with other software tools is a distinct advantage).
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is a must and Spanish would be considered an asset.
