Billing and Metrics Tech Lead
**Billing and Metrics Tech Lead (Developer) - Hibrid Model
**Startup Americana Tech, com escritório localizado na região de São Paulo/SP

Your role is to pick to develop the tooling within company needed to log and bill for the transactions that occur on our system. This is a particularly challenging role because the scale of the transactions is high and crosses a diverse user base

**Skills**
- Experience analyzing and scaling database performance
- Direct experience with metrics frameworks like prometheus at scale
- Language skills in Java or Python
- Test development

**Tasks**

With the product manager, create the list of metrics we will use for billing

Communicate the above list to the development teams so they are able forward billing events to the metric subsystem

With the monitoring lead, select a sub-system usable for metric accumulation

Select a billing subsystem

Design and develop the APIS to extract and transform the operational metrics into the billing system

Create tests suites for these functionalities
