**Role Overview**
As **Head of Legal,** you’ll lead the legal department and own the full legal agenda. From driving contract negotiations and ensuring compliance to advising leadership on regulatory strategy, you will be both a strategic partner and a hands-on expert. You will also be responsible for structuring and scaling legal processes, managing risk, and growing the internal legal function.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the legal team and external counsel relationships
- Own the full lifecycle of commercial contracts—from drafting to execution
- Provide strategic legal advice to the executive team across business functions
- Oversee global licensing, compliance, and risk management initiatives
- Ensure product and corporate activities align with applicable regulations
- Handle claims, disputes, and represent the business in legal matters when necessary
- Develop internal legal processes, policies, and governance frameworks
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of legal experience in-house or at a law firm, with leadership exposure
- Deep knowledge of commercial, corporate, and regulatory legal matters in fintech
- Strong experience negotiating and structuring commercial agreements
- Fluent English (written and spoken); other languages a plus
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-border environment
