The Tax Assistant has the following responsibilities and key tasks related to BW Energy’s (BWE) operation in Brazil:

- Assist in preparing the calculation of direct and indirect taxes well as on preparation of the tax returns.
- Calculate the withholdings taxes due over the supplier invoices.
- Maintain updated the Clearance Certificate (Municipal, State and Federal).
- Maintain updated the Digital Certificate for the companies and Administrator.
- Assist on the crosscheck and validate of tax obligation and reconcile tax information with accounting.
- Work with other stakeholders, especially Accounting and Finance Team, to prepare tax calculation records and ensure accuracy of tax returns.
- Assist the preparation of tax requirements and the documentation related to tax incentives.
- Help to attend the tax authorities and government agencies on tax assessments, tax audits and any relevant tax issues.

**Requirements**:

- Attending or graduate in Accounting or related field.
- Tax experience in accounting firm and/or in industry, preferably an E&P corporation.
- Knowledge in tax obligations.
- Ability to understand and work with ERP systems.
- Fluent in oral and written Portuguese language
