Investigations Analyst, Trust

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in relevant fields (Data Analysis, Research, Risk and Fraud Investigation, Internet Industry, etc).
- Ability to speak and write English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience with SQL, Python and/or another data or scripting language
- Experience with project management and process optimization with a data analytics component
- Knowledge of Financial Services, Cryptocurrencies, Regulatory Compliance
- Knowledge of Internet, web-research, online advertising, fraud detection, numerical analysis, and e-commerce.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. Policy enforcement, Financial Services risk, and Regulatory risk are a key focus of Trust & Safety, with potential for impact across the company. The Ads Investigations team will be at the forefront of this effort, balancing our role of fighting abuse at scale, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and preserving a great customer experience for advertisers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be part of designing and implementing enforcement strategies for Google Ads policies under regulatory scrutiny worldwide and engage with stakeholders at all levels on Legal & Regulatory risk Ads Policy issues
- Develop and maintain innovative and policy-relevant processes to advance our capabilities and knowledge about Financial Services ads.
- Identify and investigate trends to define and implement enforcement strategies to address content-related abuse, questionable business practices, violations of Google's advertising policies, and general misuse of our ads products.
- Manage and respond to escalations from internal and external parties.
- Ability to participate in the on-call rotation schedule to manage high priority escalations that may occur outside of non-standard work hours including weekends/holidays.
