Responsible for development and management of Interior, Exterior and Electronics automotive accessories, leading the interface with international and local suppliers for development process, including the definition of technical and performance requirements

Research and development of components and local technology improving vehicle accessories offers

Implement and manage introduction of accessories for After Sales and Special Edition versions, according to product planning

Identify technical engineering requirements that each component and accessory must comply with in the local market

Improve and implement design changes based on local customer requirements

Plan and execute tests and products validations to ensure a high level of quality and durability

Define supplier´s process and conduct supplier´s engineering discussions to deliver development of accessories

Support After Sales department and headquarters with data and benchmarking research about the market and environmental characteristics

Cooperate with the After Sales and Dealer network to define installation process and tools required, including the development of assembly manuals

Team work with several departments and Headquarters to ensure smooth development of accessories and components within cost, quality and timing targets

Efficienty communication to highlight requirements, risks and help needed from the leadership

Provide and align information on real time with other departments and Headquarters, creating a collaboration culture

**Required**

Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Design, or correlated areas

English

Extensive experience in the automotive sector (more than 10 years)

Knowledge in production process for polymers, plastics, foam, chemicals (Sealers, asphaltic, insulator plate, films, elastomers, etc.), surface treatment, finishing coat and painting would be a plus

Knowledge on teardown and benchmarking, Value Analysis, Value Engineering

Experience with electrical, electronics and connectivity systems

Trained and skilled user of 3D Catia V5,V6
