- 00300We're looking for an **Accounts Payable Officer** who keeps track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.

**Here's an overview**
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Schedule: Day shift
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid

**About our client**

You will work with a local Sydney new home builder established in 1994 with a vision to design and build new homes of quality and excellence.

**What are the daily tasks?**
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Maintaining historical records
- Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
- Continuing to improve the payment process
- Other ad hoc duties as required

**Requirements**:

- 2 years and above experience of accounts payable.
- An understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is required.
- Attention to detail and data entry skills.
- Strong communication & customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic & initiative
