**Job Title: Senior User Experience Designer**

**Location: Costa Rica, Brazil and India**

**Duration: 1 year+**

**About this role**

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Senior Product Designer, where you will be responsible for the design and usability for services on the HPE GreenLake platform. You will work closely with product managers and engineers to help us understand our users, to design innovative new features and workflows. You will create new interactions, dashboards, and visualizations to help our users manage their models, data sets, and clusters. You will collaborate with leadership to set standards and process so that we have a thoughtful and coherent interface which will serve our growing product for years to come.

**Responsibilities**
- 8+ years in user experience design
- Solid understanding of user-centric and web design principles
- Track record of delivering well-designed products from ideation to productization
- Experience as a design leader who collaborates with product, engineering, delivery and marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with development teams to understand the problem domain and design solutions that meet user needs
- Leading the design of products from concept to launch, ensuring they are user-friendly.
- Stay up to date with design trends and emerging technologies and incorporating this knowledge into the design process where appropriate.
- Communicate design decisions and trade-offs effectively to stakeholders.
- Work with our research team as needed during usability testing and user research studies to gather insights on designs and ensure the products we develop meet customer needs.
- Work with design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure our products adhere to standards.
- Contribute to the design process during our design sprints.
- Ability to translate design research and product requirements into wireframes, mockups and clickable prototypes using our HPE Design System Components
- Abstract product-specific user experiences to generic HPE Design System templates, patterns, and components
- Mentor and pair with designers and engineers to craft creative solutions

**What we’d prefer you bring**:

- Graphic or visual design experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, UX Research, Interaction Design, Fine Arts or equivalent
- Experience designing for accessibility and internationalization.
- General understanding of HTML elements and basic CSS principles
- Experience with a collaborative culture; Collaborate with local and remote design teams conducting frequent feedback sessions and iterations of your design work
